School Timings

  1. Sick Leave: If a student is unwell and unable to attend school, a parent or guardian should inform the school on the day of absence. A written application or email should be sent to the class teacher stating the reason for absence and the expected duration of leave. If the leave extends beyond three days, a medical certificate may be required.

  2. Casual Leave: We understand that there may be circumstances where a student needs to take leave for personal reasons. However, as per our policy, casual leave is not provided. We encourage students to attend school regularly to ensure continuous learning and progress.

  3. Half Day Leave: If a student needs to leave school early due to an appointment or family obligation, a written application should be submitted to the class teacher at least a day in advance. The application should state the reason for the early leave and the time of departure. Please note that half day leave should be used sparingly and only when absolutely necessary.

  4. Emergency Leave: In case of an emergency, parents or guardians should inform the school immediately. A written application should be submitted as soon as possible explaining the nature of the emergency.

  5. Long-Term Leave: If a student needs to take leave for an extended period (more than a week), a written application should be submitted to the Principal at least two weeks in advance. The application should state the reason for the leave and the duration. Approval for long-term leave is at the discretion of the Principal and will be granted only in exceptional circumstances.

Please note that regular attendance is crucial for a student’s academic progress and we discourage unnecessary leaves. All leaves should be applied for in accordance with the above procedures. Unauthorized absence from school will be viewed seriously and may affect the student’s academic record.
