Examination Policy

  1. Frequency of Examinations: The academic year is divided into two terms. Each term will have one major examination. Additionally, there will be periodic tests and assignments throughout the year to assess the continuous progress of the students.

  2. Attendance: Students must have a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to appear for the term-end examinations. In case of medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, parents are requested to inform the school in writing.

  3. Preparation: Students are encouraged to revise the topics taught in class regularly. Teachers will provide a revision schedule before the examinations.

  4. Conduct During Examinations: Students must maintain discipline and silence in the examination hall. Any form of malpractice will not be tolerated and will result in serious consequences.

  5. Grading System: The school follows a comprehensive grading system. The final grade will be based on the student’s performance in the term-end examinations, periodic tests, assignments, and class participation.

  6. Result Declaration: The results will be declared on the school’s website and notice board. Parents are requested to check the website regularly for updates.

  7. Re-examination: In case a student is unable to appear for an examination due to a valid reason, parents are requested to inform the school in writing. The school will consider the request and may arrange for a re-examination.

  8. Promotion Policy: Promotion to the next class will be based on the student’s overall performance during the academic year. The decision of the school regarding promotion is final.

These policies are designed to ensure a fair and consistent evaluation of all students. We believe that examinations are a means to understand the learning gaps and to improve teaching methodologies. We request the cooperation of all students and parents in adhering to these policies.
